Subject: Reception for HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
You may have already heard that HRH Princess Sirindhorn will receive an honorary doctorate degree at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) commencement ceremony the morning of May 26, 2005. That afternoon, the Dean will host HRH at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and at 3:30 p. m. we will have a reception in the 9th floor conference room so that you may meet HRH, the Ambassador, the entourage, and other invited guests from Thailand. I hope that you will be able to be here for this very special occasion. I have already ordered a bouquet for the students to present to her. Please email me asap to respond to this invitation.

I have just been told that they only invite 20 people to attend the reception for the Princess and it is not open to all Thais in the area. Perhaps, the Thai Embassy may have another event that is more open to local Thai people. I am sorry for the mix-up.
Prathep has allowed us to take photos with her at Johns Hopkins reception on May 26, 2005. I have attached the photo with this email. There are 4 OSKs in
the photo. I was kneeling on the immediate right side of her (the third
person from the left in the second row). The first person in the same
(second) row is my nephew Thanapol Laowattana, ธนพล เหล่าวัฒนา OSK 121. The last person on the row behind us is Dr. Phitakpol Boonyamalike, พิทักษ์พล บุณยมาลิก OSK 100. The person standing right behind me is OSK 108 but I cannot remember his name. I did not know him until he came to talk to me saying that he remembers me and he is OSK 108.
In this 2nd photo, I was standing the first person from the left and Dr. Phitakpol Boonyamalik, OSK 100, was standing on Prathep's left side. Thanks.
Thanks Songwut. The year should be 2005, not 2205 as I wrote! (Perhaps I will come back in a new life to be an SK student again).
My nephew Thanapol Laowattana, OSK 121, was the one who "ta wai" flowers to Prathep but I heard from my family in Thailand that they did not make a recording while he was doing that. My digital camera was also full at that moment.
The third person in the third row may have his first name "Jitti" or "Kitti", I am not certain. He graduated from Pra Mongkut Medical School and is now at Johns Hopkins with a scholarship from the medical school. If anyone knows, please write his first name and last name here.
Congrats to p'Sunshine (OSK104) once again krub for his new book and for being nominated for Who's Who in America =)

I have received a notification letter today confirming that my biography has been selected to be included in the next edition of "Who's Who in America" which is scheduled for publication in October 2009 for the upcoming 2010 Edition. In January of 2001, the latest edition of Who's Who in America was included in the White House's Millennium Time Capsule to represent the innovations and accomplishments of Americans at that time in history.
My biography will start with my name and my occupation followed by our Father's and Mother's names and then, my educations and professional accomplishments, especially on my discovery that left insular stroke is associated with adverse cardiac outcome and estrogen plus progestin increases the risk of ischemic stroke in postmenopausal women. For my educations, they only allow "Chulalongkorn" for my medical degree and "Johns Hopkins" for my PhD. Again, I am very pleased to be able to distribute our Father's and Mother's names all over the world, after their names being on the first, dedication page of my book "Left insular stroke is associated with adverse cardiac outcome" which will have a world-wide distribution later this month.
Who's Who is America will be $789, much more expensive than my book which will be $103.
I am thankful to my Father and my Mother who have created my "brain".
